Team JBR – History |
JBR was founded in 2010 as JB Racing Group in Switzerland and initially focused on engineering services in motorsport. With the founding of the German JBR Motorsport & Engineering GmbH based in Arnstadt (Thuringia) in 2012, JBR also became involved as an independent team in the ADAC Formula Masters and in the German Formula 3 Championship. In both series, the team was able to achieve various podium finishes and victories. In the German Formula 3 championship, the team finished in the 2014 season finally the 4th place in the team ranking.
After the end of the ADAC Formula Masters Series and the German Formula 3 Championship, JBR focused on building a touring car and GT team. In the season 2016 the debut took place in the newly created TCR Germany, where the best team result was achieved with place 5 at the season finale in Hockenheim.
At the beginning of the 2017 season, Motorola was able to find a new, strong partner. In addition, extensive changes were made in the company’s corporate structure. With the new partners, the strategic reorientation of the company has been redefined for the coming years under the “Motorola Team JBR” application. The Motorola Team JBR will race in the 2019 season with two cars in the GT Masters. Also scheduled for international GT series and 24-hour classics are the future. In addition, the team will be involved in the booming GT4 series in 2019/2020.

Due to his close link to Formula 1 Jörn Becker was able to recruit an exceptional team allowing him to team up with experts coming from the highest level of professional motorsports.
The key positions are all filled with well-established co-workers Jörn Becker has been working with for years on different projects.

JBR offers state-of-the-art equipment, provided in the team´s corporate design.
Besides the technical and logistical equipment as mentioned below JBR offers a representative hospitality and a test track in striking distance and thus exceeding the common equipment standards by far.
The hospitality with 150 sqm is available for customers and partners forming an exclusive environment for conversations, networking, presentations and relaxation. A catering service, relaxation zones, entertainment technology and the team´s own VIP shuttle service complete the holistic service package. more
At close distance to the workshop the team can use the nearby aerodrome track for rollouts, functional testing etc.

- Modern pit equipment with media walls, extendible analysis stations with 4 screens per desk, radio linking, fuelling facility, modern working lighting, measuring technology, all necessary special tools and garage components.

- On board and on track video analysis including super slow motion
